Maynard Model I

History: This Carbine was widely known for its superb accuracy during the Civil War. Which was sought after, more so, by the Confederacy than the North. The Model I Carbine that L. Romano Rifle Co. manufactures as a reproduction, is as dead ringer for the firearms issued to The 1st Mississippi Cavalry in 1861.  The L. Romano Rifle Co. stands alone as the only company in the world to ever reproduce this firearm. Like all the Romano firearms, this Carbine is known for its superb quality and accuracy.

Maynard 1882 Model 15

History: After the Civil War, Dr. Maynard kept his company going by entering the Sporting & Hunting market. In all, Maynard made a total of 16 different models of this uniquely designed firearm. The single shot lever hinged, take down barrel allows you to interchange barrels and purchase different calibers, as desired. This rifle was used in all types of long range shooting competition and the taking of big game animals around the world. This firearm was widely known for it’s supreme quality, reliability and accuracy. The 1882 Maynard is offered by L.Romano Rifle Co. in four calibers.  This custom, Romano Rifle Co. reproduction is offering the same quality, reliability and supreme accuracy, as did Dr. Maynard himself.
